Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP), an Islamabad based Civil Society Organisation, specialising in the support and facilitation of philanthropy, is holding its annual Corporate Philanthropy Awards' ceremony on Thursday, 15th December at Sheraton Hotel in Karachi. Yaseen Anwar, Governor, State Bank of Pakistan will be giving away awards to Public Listed Companies that were high contributors to social development in the country for the Financial Year 2010.
The awards are being distributed for the fifth time and are based on PCP's annual research based survey titled 'Corporate Philanthropy in Pakistan: Survey of Public Listed Companies 2010.' The survey is part of the Centre's ongoing effort to document and encourage corporate philanthropy.-PR
