Sindh police on Monday claimed to have arrested four notorious criminals after separate brief encounters and recovered substantial quantity of weapons. According to police sources, three suspects were apprehended during search at Baloch Goth Orangi Town. The search operations were conducted at two different localities of Orangi Town including Baloch Goth and Shah Faisal Mohallah.
They said these operations were launched on a tip-off, which revealed that some notorious criminals and drug peddlers were hiding in the said areas and added that three suspects involved in this heinous crime were taken into custody. They said the police had also recovered narcotics and weapons from their possessions. The cases were registered against the detained persons. Further investigation is in progress.
Meanwhile, Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police also claimed to have nabbed a criminal namely Ghulam Hussain alias Shedu after brief encounter in North Karachi and recovered a TT pistol and snatched motorcycle from him. Police said they had registered a case 508/11 against him.
