Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is passing through a difficult situation and it is facing economic problems and internal and external challenges. He said that we have to march forward united for bringing the country out of these difficulties and problems.
He said that inefficient rulers have ruined the country, nation and the economy and the time has come that the entire nation should unite at one platform for the security and survival of the country.
He was addressing elected representatives, office bearers and workers of Muslim League-N belonging to Bahawalnagar and Vehari districts, here Sunday. Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Advisor Raja Ashfaq Sarwar were also present on the occasion.
Addressing on this occasion, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that service to people is mission of Pakistan Muslim League-N and all out resources are being utilised for the accomplishment of this agenda. He said that especial attention has been paid to the development of backward areas and a network of development schemes has been laid in these areas. He said that revolutionary projects like Daanish schools and mobile health units have also been started from these areas. He said that development projects for provision of health, education, potable water, transport and other facilities are being completed speedily throughout the province. He asked the elected representatives and party workers to make service to the people their motto and utilise all their energies for resolution of their problems.
Elected representatives, while paying rich tributes to Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif over his excellent development work in Southern Punjab, informed him about the progress of ongoing development schemes and problems of the people of their respective areas.
