At-least 14 persons including four children burnt to death as the CNG cylinder of a passenger van exploded after collision with a parked truck here on Saturday morning, police said. The accident occurred at Melsi Road near Sultanpur area. The incident occurred when the van was on its way from Multan to Vehari but collided with a parked truck.
After the collision, the CNG cylinder of the van exploded and it caught fire. As a result, 12 persons including four children were killed while eight others were injured. The injured were shifted to near-by hospitals. Police registered case of the incident and started investigation.
