By-elections in PP-30 to be held on March 5

SARGODHA: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced a schedule for by-elections in PP-30 to be held on March 5.

According to an official of the Regional Election Commission Office, Basil Akram, the ECP has nominated Regional Elections Commissioner Muhammad Zubair as district returning officer while Athar Abbasi as returning officer.

He said nomination papers could be submitted from January 19- 21 while the polling will be held on March 5.

The seat fell vacated after the death of PML-N MPA Tahir Ahmed Sandhu.
