Muharram procession taken out amid tight security

The ninth Muharram procession of "alam-o-zuljinnah" was taken out at Sheenbagh amid tight security on Monday Morning. Sabeels of water and milk along with food stalls were set-up by local organisers at different points for the participants, while a special mobile medical team of District Headquarters Hospital along-with Rescue 1122 provided treatment to the participants.
After passing through its traditional routes, the procession ended peacefully at Imam Bargah Hussainiya Sheenbagh. Later, a 'majlis' was held at Imam Bargah in which ulemas and zakireen including Molana Maulana Ejaz Hussain Sajdi, Zakir, Syed Asghar Ali Shah of Moch highlighted the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the brutality of yazidiyat at Karbala. They said Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was a symbol of unique philosophy and a line of demarcation between noble and evil forces. Karbala was an incident that gave the message of upholding righteousness and truth to the mankind for their eternal success, they added.
