The persistently delayed arrival and departure of trains is perturbing passengers as trains arriving on Sunday behind their proper scheduled timing in Peshawar. According to Railways sources, most of the trains aren't arriving in time because of certain reasons.
The source said that the Karachi to Peshawar bound Khushal Khan Khattak Express arrived in Peshawar with 13 hours off the schedule. Similarly, the Passenger train five hours, Khyber Mail eight hours and Awan Express one hour late from exact timing. The Quetta Express would reach Peshawar late night at 11:20 pm delayed from the scheduled three hours.
The sources informed that the departure of Quetta Express from Peshawar on Sunday is cancelled due to lack of engine. However, the Awan Express departed from Peshawar on scheduled timing at 9am from cantonment Railway Station.
