PML-Q MNA, Sardar Talib Nakai and PPP MPA, Dr Neelum Jabbar called on Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at State Guest House, here on Sunday. In separate meetings, they eulogised government's firm stance against the Nato air strike in which 24 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom.
They also praised the Prime Minister for having direct interaction with the PPP Punjab parliamentarians and passing prompt instructions to resolve their problems. The politicians also apprised the PM about the problems faced by people of their respective constituencies. Expressing his views, the PM said the PPP is an ideology, struggle and movement, which, with its invincible strength, has kept it close to the people and its popularity surged with the passage of time.
Gilani said he has already given instructions to ministers of water and power, petroleum, chairman of Pakistan Baitul Maal and chairperson Benazir Income Support Fund to ensure their availability here every month listen to the problems being faced by parliamentarians and resolve them on priority.
