ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing on Tuesday called on Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar in his chambers after assumption of office.

The ambassador briefed the Chief Justice on the bilateral relationship of Pakistan and China especially in connection with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CEPC), said a press release issued here on Tuesday.

He also extended an invitation on behalf of Peoples Court of China to Chief Justice to visit China during Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conference for which formal request will be extended to Chief Justice through the Pakistan Embassy.

The Ambassador thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing his time to meet him.
