Meeting reviews dengue eradication progress

Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting to review the situation of dengue-virus in the province, steps taken for its eradication and provision of diagnostic facilities to the people at reasonable rates. Various decisions were taken in the meeting for ensuring provision of best and quality diagnostic facilities to the people and it was also decided to constitute a committee for formulating recommendations in this regard.
Addressing the meeting, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the policy evolved for eradication of dengue should be fully implemented and the steps taken for controlling dengue should be reviewed every month regularly.
