APWA felicitates Sherry on her appointment

The All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) has felicitated Sherry Rehman on her appointment as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States. In a statement here on Friday, the President of APWA, Begum Laila Haroon Sarfaraz and the National Executive Committee of the Association congratulated Sherry Rehman on her recent well deserved appointment to the prestigious post as Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States of America.
It said that she has a rich experience being a senior journalist and later as the then federal minister of information. The statement said that as a legislator, Sherry Rehman played an active role in delivering key legislation related to women's rights.-PR
