Cloudy weather likely in Karachi

The Met Office on Friday forecast partly cloudy weather for Karachi in the next 24 hours with maximum temperature between 31 degree centigrade and 33 degree centigrade. According to the office's weather report, a shallow trough of westerly wave is present over northern areas and dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country.
However, light rain may occur in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24 hours while foggy/misty conditions would prevail in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sukkur division during early morning hours. Lowest temperature of minus 6 degree centigrade was recorded in Skardu, while weather remained mainly dry in most parts of the country in the last 24 hours, the met office said.
