NHA bridge on Quetta-Karachi road collapses

Newly constructed bride of National Highway Authority (NHA) on Quetta-Karachi main highway collapsed in Mastung on Friday causing stoppage of traffic on the highway. Official sources confirmed the incident and said that the newly constructed bridge of the NHA on Quetta-Karachi highway was opened for traffic few days back. "Millions of rupees were incurred for construction of the NHA bridge," they said.
According to preliminary investigation, the cause of the collapsing of the bridge is told to be utilisation of sand and mud more than cement and iron, which led to its collapse.
