MADRID: The Bank of Spain is considering investing in China's yuan currency, a spokesman said on Tuesday, though the central bank did not say whether or not it currently held any reserves in the money.
On Monday, Germany's central bank said it is looking to place some of its currency reserves into yuan given the Chinese currency's increased global role.
"The Bank of Spain is also considering undertaking investments in the renminbi (yuan)," the spokesman said in an email.
