BRIndex30 up 16.94 points

It touched the intra-day high of 8,884.44 points and low of 8,785.18 points and closed at 8,811.52 points with a net positive change of 16.94 points, or 0.19 percent higher than previous close.
The volume was 29,600,905 shares, which was 76.9 percent of KSE All share volume and 89.6 percent of KSE-100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 38,491,161 shares and KSE-100 volume was 33,035,817 shares. BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,278.92 with a net positive change of 9.53 points or percentage change of 0.42 and turnover of 4,932,744 shares.
BR Cement Index closed at 603.15 with a net positive change of 4.5 points or percentage change of 0.75 and turnover of 3,861,313 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,618.56 with a net positive change of 11.73 points or percentage change of 0.73 and turnover of 2,467,781 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,684.97 with a net positive change of 6.58 points or percentage change of 0.25 and turnover of 1,136,659 shares. BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 258.14 with a net positive change of 0.74 points or percentage change of 0.29 and turnover of 746,649 shares.
