Message from Managing Director, Pegasus Consultancy (Private) Limited

With the utmost gratitude towards UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Her Highness Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, and UAE Counsel General in Karachi, Excellency Sheikh Suhail Bin Matar Al- Ketbiyour, to have endowed Pegasus Consultancy with the opportunity to play a part in promoting Pakistan - UAE bilateral trade, through "Magnificent 7" UAE Expo 2011, I welcome all participants to this great event being held at Expo Centre Karachi from 30th November to 2nd December, as a part of UAE's 40th National Day celebrations.
Relationship between Pakistan and UAE has been an example of brotherhood and friendship for the past four decades, and the bilateral trade, which constitutes a small yet important part of this association between the two countries, indicates the strength of friendship and coherence of interests between them. Learning from the past, and looking into the future, the two nations stand poised to build upon the co-operation that has stood the test of time.
Vision and leadership of commerce and trade ministries of both the countries has assured a future of prosperity and progress for both countries, and UAE Expo 2011 is poised to become a vital platform to encourage economically viable commercial interactions between the private sector of the two countries.
Keeping in view the current state of global trade, and the need to further the co-operation between Pakistan and UAE, planning and co-ordination of UAE Consulate in Karachi is commendable in plotting UAE Expo 2011 as a means of economic and industrial development of both countries.
UAE Expo is a showcase event of the 7 majestic states, representing the apex of economic and social development, amalgamating into a nation setting global benchmark - UAE. This exhibition is a manifestation of opportunities, attribution of potential that awaits utilisation to address mutual interests and concerns of both countries.
As Pakistan continues to expand its economic base to a global scale, UAE Expo presents itself as an excellent platform for the business community from both sides to enhance networks, forge partnerships and fabricate collaborations. Pegasus has been at the forefront of arranging, organising, and managing such events and exhibitions that provide participants with ample opportunities to achieve their objectives, and ensure a future of prosperity, locally and globally.
Finally, I would like to extend my heartiest appreciation for the Government Departments, Authorities, and Ministries for their support. I would also like to praise the eagerness and involvement of the sponsors of UAE Expo 2011, who have ensured the success of this event for the greater good of promoting bilateral trade between the surging nations of Pakistan and UAE.
