ISLAMABAD: A Senate delegation, headed by Convener of Pak-France Parliamentary Friendship Group Senator Lt Gen (R) Abdul Qayyum, Tuesday left here on a three-day official visit to Paris, France.
The visit, taking place on invitation of the French government, would help further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries in diverse fields especially economic, trade and strategic cooperation, a statement said.
The delegation, led by Abdul Qayyum, is consisted of Senators Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar, Baz Muhammad Khan and Muhammad Saleh Shah.
During its stay, the delegation would visit the French National Assembly, Senate , Pak-France Business Council and Foreign Office, besides holding a meeting with French Defence Minister.
