KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar has greeted foreign investors’ interest in Karachi projects, saying investment from the UAE investors will be welcomed.
He said this while talking to the Ambassador of UAE Hamad Obaid Alzaabi who visited KMC Head Office in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Building on Monday along with UAE Consul General Nasser Huwaiden Al Ketbi. Mayor Karachi informed the delegation about the development projects to provide better civic facilities to citizens of Karachi.
The UAE ambassador said that investors from the UAE have interest in Karachi’s development projects and he will tell them about the opportunities for investment in the port city.
Akhtar said the industrial zones in Karachi provide huge revenue to the country and they are being upgraded.
