KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 24,029.53 points with a negative change of -165.75 and volume of 224,498,900 shares. High and Low were 24,316.50 and 23,870.65 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 18 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 319,451,120 shares. Total companies traded were 388 of which 153 were positive, 221 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 47,191,300 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 43,064,500 shares.
