Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Chaudhry Waqar Khan first cousin of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly along with Sardar Iqbal Saturday joined Pakistan People's Party (PPP). In a press conference flanked by PPP leaders Jhangir Badar and Faryal Talpur here, Chaudhry Waqar Khan said that there is no looking back and we will remain firm as PPP workers in all good and bad times.
He said that politics is not governance but it is the ideology of any party which attracts people to join it. He said that in the present circumstances, it was difficult for me and my colleague Sardar Iqbal to further stay with PML-N. He said that we have decided to join the PPP after marathon consultations and now we will stay with the party what may come.
