Fire broke out in a plastic factory located at Korangi in the limits of Awami police station on Tuesday. Fire brigade officials said two fire tenders were sent to the spot after receiving the information at 10am. They said the fire completely gutted the factory before the tenders could reach the scene. Nonetheless, fire was doused in two hours. He said the fire broke out due to short circuit. No body was reported hurt in the incident.
