RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 23,354.23 points with a positive change of 410.62 and volume of 161,296,900 shares. High and Low were 23,405.17 and 22,909.09 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 25 were up, 4 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 260,949,920 shares. Total companies traded were 388 of which 282 were positive, 86 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 44,554,100 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 27,558,000 shares.
