Administrator Orangi Town, Qamar Sheikh, has directed the officials concerned to activate town rain emergency centre and remove encroachment from the surroundings of nallahs (drainage). He was chairing a meeting of the town officials, said a statement issued on Saturday.
Qamar directed the sanitation department to regular clean nullahs in order to ensure smooth flow of sewage. He also directed town staff to make necessary arrangements to facilitate people during rain.
