Federal Minister for Interior A Rehman Malik on Thursday visited the residence of slain Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and chairman of Peoples Unity, Aamir Shah, in Gulistan-e-Jauher and condoled with the family over his demise and announced to provide jobs to his two brothers.
Talking to family members, Rehman Malik said that the slain leader was an asset for the PPP and that his services for the party will be long remembered. He also offered Fateha for the departed soul. Later, the Minister visited the area and inquired from the locals about the law and order situation after surgical action in selected areas of Karachi. People of the area who gathered around him appreciated the efforts of the Interior Minister and said they were satisfied with his performance. While responding to their reaction, Rehman Malik said that his aim was to improve law and order and restore peace in the city.
