People in Federal Capital were deprived of vehicles and valuables as during last 24 hours 16 crime incidents were reported in the capital while Islamabad Police busted a gang of dacoits and held 22 persons for their involvement in dacoities, possession of illegal arms, prostitution, drug pushing and bootlegging. Police recovered three pistols, 790gram charas, one vehicle and 200 bottles of liquor from the detained persons.
Kohsar Police registered a case about theft of a Suzuki Van bearing registration No Q-5228, which was stolen by unknown car lifters from Jinnah Super Market, while Kohsar Police held a person namely Nek Muhammad who was begging for money in Jinnah Super Market.
Kohsar Police also nabbed three persons for their involvement in robbery. Three persons namely Nadeem Ishfaq, Naseem Ishfaq and Dawood Farhan, attacked a person in Blue Area and stole his cell phone. During routine patrolling, Aabpara Police stopped a person namely Asif Munawar in G-7/2 and on checking 200 bottles of liquor were recovered from him.
A person was injured at Murree Road in the jurisdiction of Secretariat Police, when a fast driven wagon hit a motorbike. The injured person was taken to hospital while the driver Syed Abbas was arrested. Bhara Kahu Police recovered one pistol (30-bore) and three bullets on the pointation of under trial prisoner. Bhara Kahu Police arrested two persons Muhammad Liaqat and Saqib Ijaz after recovery of 270gram and 570gram charas from them respectively.
Golra Police arrested one person and impounded the car bearing green number plate. The detained person Tawheed Khan told police that he is employee of CDA, but failed to prove. The car was impounded and he was arrested. Tarnol Police busted a gang of criminals after receiving information regarding their hideout. Police raided the hideout at Sarai Kharboza and arrested three gangsters while two managed to escape. The detained gangsters were identified as Tahir Mehmood, Muhammad Waseem and Saeed Anwar. Police recovered one Mouzer pistol and nine bullets from Saeed Anwar.
Industrial Area Police recovered one pistol from a person namely Muhammad Rafiq, who was stopped in I-8/4. Koral Police arrested six persons including four women from Pak PWD Housing scheme who were involved in prostitution. Police held two pimps namely Afzal and Amir and four women namely Sania, Shamaila, Shabana and Zaida.
