The faculty, staff and students of Karachi University distributed relief goods worth over Rs 600,000 among the rain affectees in Thatta, Sujawal and Jati areas. KU Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi, led the 34-member team of the institution which distributed the relief goods.
She said on Monday the team that included the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Professor Dr Hissamuddin Mansoori, Chairperson of Islamic learning Department, Dr Rehana, teachers, staff and students of KU travelled to the areas on Sunday and distributed the relief goods among some 250 families affected by the recent rains.
