Students awarded chevening scholarships

British Council awarded the Chevening scholarships to the six people of Punjab on Monday. A ceremony was organised by British Council in this regard. Provincial Secretary Literacy Dr Allah Baksh Malik while Executive Committee of British Council was also present on the occasion. British Chevening Scholarships are for one year for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom.
Overall 23 students were given the scholarships in Pakistan. Scholars from Punjab include Dr Ali Adnan Zaidi, a Journalist from a private news channel Hina Saeed, an SSP Suhail Chaudhary, Mubashir and Arsalan. Students who received scholarships hailed the services of British Council and said that this was a memorable moment for them.
