RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 22,943.61 points with a positive change of 465.18 and volume of 142,098,900 shares. High and Low were 23,022.62 and 22,464.97 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 6 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 222,352,310 shares. Total companies traded were 364 of which 200 were positive, 142 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 35,938,500 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 28,832,500 shares.
