Seven nationalist parties took out a peaceful protest rally on Saturday against bloodshed in Karachi. The activists marched from Regal Chowk to Karachi Press Club. Leaders of Labour Party Sindh, Workers Party Pakistan, Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Community Party Pakistan, National Party and Watan Dost Inqlabi Party led the rally participated by a large number of people belonging to different walks of life including women and students.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans 'No to ethnic and lingual killings and terrorism', 'No compromise on integrity of Sindh', We reject US and British interference in Sindh' and 'Make Karachi weapon free city'. The leaders of seven parties, Yousuf Masti Khan, Khaliq Junejo, Nasir Mansoor, Ramzan Memon, Imdad Qazi, Dastagir Uqaily and Jan Muhammad Buledi also addressed the protesters and rejected restoration of Local Government System of General Musharraf. They appealed the citizens to reject the parties involved in killings.
