Gold jumped by Rs 1,543 to close at Rs 52,114 per 10 grams in the local market on Saturday, as its international price also soared to $1,828 an ounce, market sources said. According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs 1,800 to Rs 60,800. He said gold has been climbing again on hectic buying in the international market. Silver closed higher at Rs 1,182.85 per 10 grams.
