Funeral prayers of martyred policemen held

'Namaz-e-Janaza' of three policemen, who embraced martyrdom when some unidentified miscreants opened fire at a bus carrying elite force personnel in Chakra Goth, Korangi on Friday evening, was offered at police headquarters, Garden Area, here on Saturday.
The martyred police personnel were identified as Mehrab, Wazir Ali and Ali Abbas, residents of Qambar Shahdadkot and Naushero Feroz. Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Inspector General of Sindh Police, Wajid Ali Durrani, and other notables attended the Namaz-e-Janaza. Later, the provincial home minister laid floral wreaths on the graves of the martyred policemen and prayed for them. The bodies of the personnel would be sent to their hometowns for burial.
