KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 21,834.45 points with a positive change of 268.00 and volume of 86,453,400 shares. High and Low were 21,883.46 and 21,440.27 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 19 were up, 11 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 118,261,640 shares. Total companies traded were 329 of which 183 were positive, 122 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,972,900 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 19,148,500 shares.
