KU announces MBBS Final exams results

The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the annual results of MBBS Final, BA-I, and B.Com-I (external). In MBBS Final results, Sadia Jawaid d/o Jawaid Khaliq of Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry secured first position obtaining 1412 marks while Jawaria Iqbal d/o Mohammed Iqbal of Sir Syed College of Medical Science stood second. Kumari Piryanka of the same college grabbed 3rd position.
According to the results gazette made available to Business Recorder, 200 students were enrolled for the examination, 197 candidates participated in the exams while 167 students managed to clear the examination. The pass percentage remained 84.77 percent. Of the 6740 students appeared in the exams of BA-I, 1575 candidates managed to clear all five papers. The pass percentage remained 23.37 percent. Results of 42 candidates have been withheld on charges of using unfair means. Meanwhile, the KU has announced results of B.Com Part-I (external). Of the 15932 candidates appeared in the exams, 4973 cleared all the papers. The pass percentage remained 31.21 percent.
