Edhi Foundation treated 2,953 patients last month

Edhi Foundation Lahore provided free treatment and medicines to 2,953 patients in its free dispensary at Allama Iqbal Town during July. The foundation admitted 69 persons including women and children to Edhi Home Gulberg and Bilquess Edhi Home Township in which 37 persons were sent to their homes after locating their home addresses, a spokesman said on Sunday.
The foundation shifted 78 killed and 248 injured persons to their homes from hospitals during accidents in the metropolis. Volunteers of Edhi Foundation shifted 1748 bodies and 2,933 patients to hospitals from houses and vice versa.
The foundation also buried 15 unclaimed bodies in Miani Sahib graveyard, the spokesman added.
