Engro Food Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 216.510 million for the half year ending June 30, 2011. According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Wednesday, the company has reported a pre-tax profit of Rs 334.911 million against a loss before tax of Rs 277.319 million in the same period last year.
The earning per share stood at Rs 0.30 during the period under review compared to loss per share of Rs 0.33 in 2010.
