Citi Pakistan today announced that it has won 'Best Corporate/ Institutional Internet Bank Award' by Global Finance for 2011. Winners were chosen among entries evaluated by a world-class panel of judges at Infosys. Global Finance editors were responsible for the final selection of winners in the first round.
"Winning banks were selected based on the following criteria: Strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality," according to Global Finance.
Arif Usmani, Citi Country Officer for Pakistan said, "This award is a reiteration of our commitment to introducing innovative, state-of-the-art online banking products and services to the local market. As we celebrate our 50th year in Pakistan (1961-2011), we continue to invest in our e-banking platform, with the objective of providing a vast array of online payment solutions and maximising customer convenience."
