The Ministry of Commerce on Thursday clarified its press release issued earlier regarding ban on export of meat and live animals and said that due to unprecedented hike in meat prices, it had discussed and examined the issue. It was agreed upon to submit a proposal to the Cabinet and ECC of the Cabinet and this issue was only at the proposal stage, said a press release issued here by the Commerce Ministry.
