Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab office bearers on Tuesday condemned police for baton charge on the protesters in Kasur, who were peacefully protesting against the eighteen hours load-shedding in the city.
PTI Punjab President Ahsan Rashid and Secretary Information, Dr Shahid Sidique Khan showed their concern over the police's brutal behaviour in Kasur and other cities of Punjab and added that protest is a basic right of people in any democratic country. "The way the protesters were humiliated, killed, injured and arrested in Mianwali, and now beaten brutally in Kasur, shows the real face of this so-called democratic government," they added.
People are fighting for basic rights and the rulers are busy in point scoring and making money. The government has failed in providing the people with basic necessities of life.
