Ijaz Hussain, BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently posted as Chief Commissioner, Inland Revenue, Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad, has been assigned additional charge of Member (Legal), FBR and FBR Member (Enforcement & Accounting), as both Muhammad Aqil Usman (IRS/BS-21) and Shahid Hussain Asad (IRS/BS-21) were on training/leave.
In this regard, the FBR has issued a notification here on Monday. Syed Ijaz Hussain, a seasoned tax official, had worked on different important positions in the past. He has ample experience of dealing with tax policy matters, enforcement and interpretation of tax laws.
According to another notification issued here on Monday, Aftab Anwar Baloch (PCS/BS-21) Chief Collector, Customs (North), Lahore, has been granted 12 days ex-Pakistan leave on full pay from the date of availing (to be availed within 30 days of issuance of this notification) to visit Saudi Arabia for performance of Umrah, subject to title.
The Federal Board of Revenue has no objection to the proceeding abroad of the officer during his leave period. Humayun Khan Sikandari (PCS/BS-21), Director General, Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit (PCA), Islamabad is assigned to look after the charge of Chief Collector of Customs (North), Lahore during the leave period of Aftab Anwar Baloch (PCS/BS-21), in addition to his own duties.
Mrs Farida Amjad BS-20 officer of Inland Revenue Service, at present posted as Chief Commissioner, Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Islamabad, has been granted 12 days leave Ex-Pakistan on full pay from July 22, 2011 to August 2, 2011 to visit Turkey.
