The Parliamentary Party of Pakistan People's Party Punjab on Thursday requested PPP co-chairman President Asif Ali Zardari to take disciplinary action against Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former foreign minister, after suspending his basic membership of the party.
Raja Riaz Ahmad, Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly, while briefing newsmen after an urgent meeting of the parliamentary party meeting held here, said a resolution was passed in the meeting against Shah Mehmood Qureshi on holding a meeting with PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif without the permission of party leadership.
