KARACHI: Government is strongly committed to implement pro-women laws adopted by the parliament, said Sindh Minister for Human rights, Nadia Gabol on Wednesday.
She said implementation of the laws in the truest spirit will help eradication of anti-human and anti-islamic practices ultimately paving way for justice, equity an equality in the society.
The minister said it was due to concerted efforts of the government that women could be seen in almost every sector of development and making significant contribution to the national economy.
"Yet witnessing their exposure to injustice and atrocities under one or the other pretext is not acceptable to any humanist," said Nadia Gabol.
"With the passage of the laws the perpetrators of the crime against women could be taken to task in most exemplary manner," she commented.
