Punjab University College of Art and Design (PUCAD) organised a lecture on "Fanoon-e-Latifa Aur Hamari Tehzeebi Zimmadariyan." Renowned scholar and humanist Ahmed Javed delivered the lecture. College Principal Professor Dr Rahat Naveed Masud and faculty members were present on the occasion. In his lecture, Ahmed Javed pointed the forms of disaster that we, as a civilisation are facing and also highlighted the responsibilities of an artist.
'A teacher, especially an art teacher is a tool, the key instrument in bringing out the youth out of hopelessness and despair,' he added. He stressed on the revival of this civilisation's aesthetics, because in this way can our souls feel the fulfilment that is the final aim of all living. In the end, College Principal Dr Rahat Naveed thanked the guest for his illuminating talk.
