Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said the government is pursuing the policy of reconciliation and respects public mandate of all the political parties. He stressed upon the need of meaningful engagement between federal government and provincial governments to address the public problems and work for betterment of the common people.
The prime minister was talking to Sardar Latif Khosa, Governor Punjab, who called on him at PM House. The prime minister asked Governor Punjab to focus on early completion of development projects launched by the federal government in Punjab. He also discussed the political and administrative matters concerning the province of Punjab. The Governor Punjab apprised the prime minister about progress of various development projects initiated by federal government in Punjab. He also informed him about political situation of the province.
