Two persons were killed as a motorbike collides with water tanker on Saturday in the limits of Korangi Industrial Area police station. The tragic incident took place on the wee hours of Saturday morning at Brookes roundabout where two friends namely Noor Hassan, 22, son of Muhammad Rasheed and Muhammad Ayub, 28, son of Rehmatullah, who were on the way to home on a bike collided with a parked water tanker (TLA-367).
Resultantly, both friends received fatal wounds and succumbed to their injuries on the spot. According to SP Usman Ghani, the water tanker driver escaped after the incident while both victims, who were the resident of Korangi No 3 sector 34/3 and were employed at EBM, were shifted to hospital for autopsy. Later the family members of both deceased, who were of the view that the tanker driver was not responsible for this mishap and refused to initiate formal proceedings against the driver, left both bodies without completing legal formalities. He said the deceased Ayub tied the knot few months ago and was second among other siblings while Noor Hassan was third.
