A three-day Asian ministers of oil and energy roundtable meeting has been called to discuss the trajectory of oil prices and ways of co-operation, which will be held in Kuwait on April 18. The meeting is the fourth for the ministers of oil and energy in Asian countries, which will be held under the umbrella of the Riyadh-based International Energy Forum.
The forum primarily aims at boosting the dialogue between oil producer and consumer countries along with bringing views closer on oil and energy markets whether in the short or long run as well as various factors affecting these markets, oil supplies, energy conditions and prices stability.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has nominated Syed Naveed Qamar, Federal Minister for Privatisation, Water & Power to lead a three member Pakistani delegation in the roundtable conference. The regional meeting will boost dialogue among Asian countries, mulls problems and challenges posed by the industry to come up with suitable recommendations that push forward the world dialogue in this respect.
