Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday night. During the meeting matters relating to current political situation, appointment of Law Minister and the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister Gilani to Afghanistan came under discussion. The Prime Minister also informed the President about his telephonic conversation with UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
Briefing the media, Farhatullah Babar Spokesperson to the President said that on the advice of the Prime Minister, President Zardari approved the appointment of Senator Moula Bakhsh Chandio as Federal Law Minister and Advocate Farooq Awan as Advisor on Law. Senator Chandio will take oath as federal minister on Saturday.
The Prime Minister also invited the President to perform the ground breaking of Bhasha Dam project, which was accepted by the President. The President apprised the Prime Minister about his recent visit to Turkey and both the leaders expressed satisfaction on the pre-feasibility study of Gul Train.
