On Wednesday, the BRIndex30 opened at 8,787.17 points and remained in red for almost whole of the trading session. It touched the intra-day high of 8,802.29 points and low of 8,730.19 points and closed at 8,732.62 points with a net negative change of -54.55 points, or -0.62 percent lower than previous close.

BR Cement Index closed at 635.66 with a net negative change of -0.38 points or percentage change of -0.06 and turnover of 3,171,305 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,473.46 with a net negative change of -17.89 points or percentage change of -0.72 and turnover of 2,581,727 shares. BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 427.80 with a net negative change of -4.72 points or percentage change of -1.09 and turnover of 1,489,364 shares.
