Khanpur Lake festival from April 15

The Tourism Corporation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is organising an Annual Festival at Khanpur Lake on 15-17 of this month. The Khanpur lake is at 20 minutes drive from Taxila by pass. The tourism official talking to APP on Monday said that the multiple cultural activities comprising air balloons show, water sports, horse dancing, cultural food, cultural handi craft, cultural dance-music, fire works are being organised to make the event an exclusive family festival.
"The objective of this festival is promotion of domestic tourism therefore the entry of festival is free, the official concluded.
