Reference in Supreme Court: PPP has chosen legal path, says Babar

Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affair Dr Babar Awan has ruled out any connection of reopening of ZAB case reference with politics. The PPP wanted to remove the stigma on the judiciary, he said while talking to media at the residence of Maqbool Elahi Malik, former Advocate General Punjab.
He said the PPP has chosen legal path of taking revenge for the murder of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. "We are presenting his case for review in the constitutional court," he said. According to him, the PPP always contacted people's court, but this time it had presented its case in the judiciary, adding the PPP would eliminate every hurdle in the way of justice.
