The CID Police, Karachi, has successfully arrested the alleged mastermind of rocket attacks on March 23 in Malir City. A top official of CID Police told APP here on Sunday that the accused identified as Abdul Kadir Kalmati alias Rockety s/o of Abdul Rehman was allegedly an activist of 'Lashkar-e-Balochistan'.
The accused was arrested here Saturday after midnight while trying to plant an explosive device at proximity with Police Lines, Garden Area. He has also allegedly confessed attacking a religious procession on February 1, this year in Malir area, the CID official said.
One TT pistol, bomb detonators, 107 sticks containing explosive devices, one anti-tank rocket, and several switch remote detonators were recovered on his pointation from various areas of the city, he added.
